Art and Well-Being

Art is a perfect way to escape from our day to day lives, so for all those who don’t know where to start, why not download The Greenhouse, print for free.

Draw it, Colour it, Paint it. Use paint, sharpies or whatever you have at home. Even if it’s just a biro, makes marks and add patterns, enjoy it. Just be creative.

Do it alone, with the kids, with Grandma. Print one for the neighbours and for the chap at the corner shop. Encourage everyone to think about their mental health and have a little time for themselves.

The perfect subject, an English garden greenhouse.

Why not take a photograph and show the world, not forgetting to tag me @artwithlittlepics on Instagram.

Doodle and Colouring.

Colouring and drawing has a crucial place in a child development and can easily be incorporated into a child’s day. It provides an opportunity to practice and develop many skills such as concentration, fine motor and coordination for early writing skills and correct finger grip.

Colouring in will encourage wellbeing and mindfulness in all ages, an opportunity to relax and take time away from the stressful challenges of covid, home schooling and working from home.

For a challenge, limit your pallet or choose a square each and make it a family activity.
I can’t wait to see your efforts and creativity, post your colouring in on your social media pages and tag me in, @artwithlittlepics.
